A combination of anarchistic free play and a very nuanced, restrained and poetic imagery is the constant outcome of Dan Baldwin’s artworks. The British artist, Dan, bridges the gap between abstract and figurative art by creating images dense with symbols and layers of meaning. His hauntingly beautiful subject matter is unique in its depth in meditating over diverse themes like Life, Death, Love, Memory, Philosophy and Politics.
Baldwin never plans his art and allows the creative process to happen naturally. He combines screen-printing techniques, household paint and spray paint to create his designs. The work is thus multi-layered, both physically and intellectually. He describes his work as allegorical, because it’s absolutely very much like music.

Dan Baldwin is an art investment favorite, and has an extremely passionate following. Celebrity collectors include Bernie Ecclestone, Sir Ronald Cohen, Jake Chapman and Jo Whiley among others. Influential artists  like Damien Hirst, Gilbert & George and Peter Blake also collect Baldwin’s work and credit him as a key influencer of his generation. In addition, his work is found in prominent collections and institutions all over the world.
