"Art not only imitates nature, but it also completes its deficiencies." Aristotle

The theme of nature has always been the core subject in SIMAFRA’s art. It’s depiction is not only to convey depth or perspective to a painting, rather being the main focus of the work itself.  Simafra doesn’t display nature solely to reveal the aesthetics of the natural world; yet, he uses it as a stand for greater thought.  His main focus is to push people towards intellectual and spiritual ideas via Mother nature.  Through this, Simafra opens our minds to philosophical ideas about our own connection to the environment and beyond.

Simafra was selected by Exibart for the publication “222 emerging artists worth investing in 2018”, a collection of 222 emerging artists selected by the most prestigious curators, critics, journalists and art galleries.

His work can be found gracing the walls of Cameron Diaz’s New York apartment, the private residence of The Royal Prince of Qatar and is a regular feature within The Cipriani Group. His dreamy landscapes have been exhibited internationally in galleries in Paris, Berlin, Istanbul, Rome, Florence and London as well as featuring on international film sets.

Simafra's artworks are currently on display at Belvedere Art Space, Monday – Saturday: 10am – 7pm
